Mirage began in the spring of 2003 when Kathleen Chapman, asked Tim to create a website for her company: Chapman Music Company. Tim created the website and asked Jon to help him by creating graphics.

Later, Tim and Jon decided to create their first computer games: Connect Four and Profit Monopoli$ation.

In the fall of 2003, Curtis Stevens asked Tim to make a computer game for the Lake Hills Website: Noah Fills the Ark. The game ended up recruiting Sam to create sounds and Darrin to create a Flash movie. It was a great success, and marked the official beginning of Mirage.

Tim -  tim@saddlebackwebservices.com

Tim began programming his sophomore year in high school. The first website he created was in Yahoo! Geocities. Later that year, he learned HTML and wrote his first website in code. To help him further his computer-based future, he worked as an intern computer technician for three summers at the Crystal Cathedral.

Tim is currently attending Saddleback Community College. He plans on transferring to UCI and receiving his Bachelors degree in Information and Computer Science.

Jon -  jomo4885@cox.net

Jon has always been a fan of great artwork pictures. He really enjoys using programs like Photoshop and Illustrator to create graphics and pictures. His first class in Photoshop was in High School and he learned a lot of new techniques, which helped him create all of the pictures for Tim and his first website project.

Recently he has been attending The Art Institute of California, Orange County and is currently in the Game Art and Design program. With all of the new tricks he is learning there he hopes to bring his experience to Mirage. At the Art Institute he has learned a wide variety of skills both on paper and computer. He also has learned a lot about 3D art and animation and hopes to bring these new skills into some games in the future.

Sam -  sarcher@uci.edu

Sam's been working with computers all his life, though he started on Apples. He has now come to accept that all platforms have their place in the big circle of technology. Since elementary school, Sam has been helping fix computers and running sound equipment at his church and schools.

He is currently employed by SVUSD fixing computers and maintaining server information. He enjoys computer games, playing music, and orange soda.

Sam is a second year major in Informatics at UC Irvine.

Look for him in Battlefield 2 servers as SammyIAm.

Darrin -  xp_ert@cox.net

Darrin started ripping computers apart the day his dad brought home an over clocked 386 from work. After the initial loss of Windows 3.11 Darrin became fascinated with the way everything worked inside the computer. With the release of Windows XP, Darrin received his new name XP_ert because of his ability to fix ANY problem that arose with the operating system. Darrin currently runs a small network of seven - always on - computers at home.

Darrin currently attends Saddleback Community College and plans on transferring to Cal Poly Pomona or Cal Poly San Louis Obispo to major in Mechanical Engineering.
